AGING AT HOME is a National Association Home Builders CAPS -Certified Aging in Place Specialist who provides Design Build Solutions services to the Houston home remodeling industry. We are a quality minded specialty service provider for aging seniors and disabled homeowners that require Universal Design and ADA modifications to their homes. We provide products and services that allow your aging love ones to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home for many years to come. We are a full service Universal Design Build contractor that is capable of performing the most routine barrier free modifications through complex renovations while providing the desired results in a timely manner.

WHY CONSIDER US

We offer our clients a complimentary home assessment as part of our value added service. As a general practice we carefully listen to our clients remodeling needs and ask them many questions concerning their daily routines. After gathering this information we will conduct a walk through inspection of the entire home. We will provide you with our recommendations for increasing your safety and comfort in your home. If your physical disabilities are severe, we will direct you to an Occupational Therapist for further evaluation.

We have the capabilities of providing our clients 2D and 3D design plans including detailed elevation views of cabinets, wall sections and product installation patterns. We offer these services to our clients to eliminate potential misunderstandings that can occur during a remodeling project and to accurately price your project. These plans can also be used to secure your building permit to commence with your remodeling project.

Aging at Home is not just about barrier free access through your home. It involves careful planning and excellent design. Many homes that we undertake are older homes that may have need for some updating. We are extremely conscious of the existing areas blending with the new home modifications. Our quality craftsmanship and design will not only enhance your homes accessibility but will substantially increase your home’s value.

We are sensitive to the fact that our work takes place in your home. This requires our people to take the necessary precautions to avoid inconveniencing our clients during the work process. This is accomplished by communicating our daily work plan schedule with our clients and protecting the areas of the existing home during the project. Our precautions includes;
